As founder and CEO of PQC-S, Eddie brings a wealth of national and international experience to his organization. Eddie has over 33 years of professional experience in the analytical testing industry, including but not limited to the following matrices: soil, water, wastewater, drinking water, chemical and hazardous waste, food, microbiologicals, petroleum lubricants, crude oil, NG, LNG, LPG, diesel, stack and source gases, chemical products, and environmental air. Eddie has provided seminars, employee training courses, presentations, consultation services, gap analysis and has also performed audits in the area of Quality Systems for ISO/IEC standards 9001:2008, 9001:2015, 17025:2005, 17025:2017, 17020:2012, 17034:2016, Guide 34:2009, TNI, DOD, ASTM D7036, EPA GLP, and CLP. Since 1992, additionally, he has provided presentations and short courses to various chapters of the TWUA, INELA, TCEQ, EPA region VI, and Pittcon.In addition, Eddie has worked internationally providing analytical testing services, consulting and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 auditing services in the Power Generation and Petroleum industry.
Eddie Clemons holds the following degrees: a BS in Biochemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana, a MBA in Project Management from Jones International. He holds the following current credentials: Lead Auditor Credentials for ISO/IEC standards 17025:2017, 17034:2016, 17020:2012; TNI BASIC Assessor credentials through Advanced Quality Systems; LLA I and II Specialist through ICML, and is also a Certified Quality Manager of Organizational Excellence (ASQCMQOE) with the American Society for Quality.Specialties: Quality Systems, Auditing, Technical Operations and Management, Staff Training, Business Development and Laboratory Consultation, In-House and Onsite Testing, Project Management services, laboratory build-outs and Laboratory Accreditation.
PQC-S collaborates with several highly skilled chemists, engineers, and consultants. These partners create an outstanding team capable of providing the high-quality service needed to bring larger projects into compliance. Combined, these partners represent over 100 years of experience.
Eddie has served as an Analyst, Chemist, Quality Control Officer, QA/QC Manager, Corporate QA/QC Director, Operations Manager, Safety Officer, Human Resources Manager, Client Services Manager, Business Development Manager, Laboratory Manager, Consultant, On-Site Chemist, and General Manager.Establishing his presence in various organizations, Eddie has also served as Quality Control Coordinator, Vice President, President, and Director at Large for the Texas Water Utilities Association (TWUA) – Houston Chapter; served on the Institute for National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation (NELA) Board, the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Council (NELAC), Environmental Laboratory Advisory Board (ELAB), INELA Public Affairs Committee, Quality Assurance and Field Sampling Committee, and The NELAC Institute Board (TNI).
